The York Firm is pleased to announce its partnership with Drama Inc. to launch The York Firm Drama Inc. Scholarship.
As Atlanta has established strong roots in the film and television industries in recent years, Drama Inc. has been there to help pave the way by providing an acting school owned and operated by working professional actors, teachers and coaches who are dedicated to sharing their craft. More than that though, Drama Inc. provides a community and support system for those in Atlanta with a passion for acting at all levels — from aspiring actors testing the waters to actors working on major shows and films.
For the vast majority of professional actors, acting is a career that requires extraordinary sacrifice. They often work other jobs and pursue their acting dreams with unknown rewards–which frequently equates to limited resources. The York Firm is excited to play a very minor role (pun intended) to help further Drama Inc.’s efforts to help Atlanta area actors pursue what they love.
Our hope is that these scholarships allow a few Georgia actors to sharpen their skill set and invest more of their time into their true passion.
